Kick off the fun with an off-road drive to an exclusive trailhead. Location Hawaii Forest and Trail will pick you up at the location you choose when you book your adventure. They will then drive you to the trail head for your adventure. You can also drive to Hawi to the old Kohala Sugar Company Headquarters, you can find this bright yellow building on the mauka (uphill) side of the intersection of Hawi Road and Akoni Pule Highway. This is the check-in location and pick-up point for Kohala Waterfall Adventures.

These folks offer the best Mauna Kea Summit at Sunrise excursion, and several others. We ourselves have done their zipline and private waterfall excursion and it was AMAZING. bonus: their ziplines are very quiet!
