Get a bike for 1 euro : Visit Paris by hiring a Vélib. It a new generation of self-service bicycle hire scheme like no other in the world with Mechanical (Green) and Electric (Blue) bicycles that are charged at stations.

There are hundreds of station. You can easily hire a Velib using your credit card at the totem. You can buy a day or week pass. The daily costs only 1,70€ / day. The first 30 minutes of each ride are for free. You can easily re-lock the bike at any station and wait 5 minutes, after take it again for avoiding higher price after the first 30 minutes. With a daily and weekly pass, you'll need to go to the totem to unlock and relock the bike at each time. Once you got the ticket, enter the numbers on it and the password you choosed. Choose the number of the bike you want to hire ( be sure that everything works first, breaks, wheels, saddle well fixed...), then get to the bike and take it
