These guys have a stunning range of speciality beers, wines and spirits and fresh, home-cooked pub food, which is prepared in front of your eyes in their open kitchen. Ace garden also.

Just before East Finchley tube station, this pub huge (so you can almost always find a table), has a nice beer garden and does decent if unexceptional food.
