Play area at the bandstand/west pier (the burnt down one) is brilliant in the summer - it has a shallow pool for toddlers to paddle and loads of sand pits/slides - go early, especially in the heat/weekends

A great seafront play park with large paddling pool and play activity area. There's a number of places right next to it to get coffee and sandwiches
