An English Heritage site, great for the family. You can take the great walk down Hurst spit or take the Hurst castle Ferry. You may even spot a seal on the way!
Great place to visit, worth the entrance costs to wander around inside the fort and original castle and enjoy tea and cake at the tea shop.

River ferry boat from Keyhaven to Hurst Castle. An alternative to walking along the shingle bank to the castle. A lovely outing with great sea views to the Isle of Wight and the Needles. Hurst Castle is steeped in history.
