Once a year, always the penultimate week in August, the Sandkerwa takes place in Bamberg from Thursday to Monday. Over 300,000 people come to Bamberg's old town to have fun, eat, drink and dance. Almost like the Oktoberfest, only much nicer, cheaper and more personal. Einmal im Jahr, immer die vorletzte Woche im August, findet die Sandkerwa in Bamberg von Donnerstag bis Montag statt. Hier kommen über 300.000 Menschen in die Altstadt von Bamberg um dort Spaß zu haben, zu Essen, zu trinken und zu tanzen. Quasi wie das Oktoberfest, nur viel schöner, günstiger und persönlicher.
