Great for sandwiches, or meats to cook at home. The staff are a little gruff but the cheese steaks are worth it.
Ernest and Son Meat Market is an old-fashioned butcher shop that was founded by Ernest Storino and his son, Sam, in 1977. Brigantine native Mel Cortellessa was hired in 1985 at the age of 13 as a cleanup kid and shelf stocker. He fell in love with the business, learned the trade and bought the business from Sam in 2007. Today, our staff strives to keep the same traditions alive that we practiced 40 years ago. Ernest and Son Meat Market provides the area with fairly priced, quality meats. Stop by to see this piece of history for yourself.
