One of my favorite. Simple but with fantastic coffee drinks and good sandwiches and cakes. Open from 7 am. Kaffitár has seven coffee shops in Reykjavik area www.kaffitar.is. Opening hours may vary.

at the national museum, and in many other location around town. Very good coffee and tasty treats. Just expensive like everything else!

Great coffee and good atmosphere. I have spent weeks of my life in this coffee shop - has WIFI and is on the main shopping street.
