Kearney is home to the Algonquin Park Magnetawan Access Permit Office. The Rain Lake access point is a short drive from town.

Huntsville is the gateway to Algonquin Park. Lots of daytime hiking trails, one day canoe or kayak excursions, beaches for swimming and waterfalls. The Logging Museum near the East Gate is a great walking tour. Check out the Alligator (it's a logging boat).

A short 35 minute drive will take you right to Algonquin Park where you can enjoy biking, fishing, walking trails, picnics, canoe trips and more! Located on Old Barry's Bay Road, off Country Rd. 62, 2 Km north of Combermere.
