If you lucky enough to be here in April and can get tickets, the Merrie Monarch Festival, the largest hula festival of all, is a must. If you can't get tickets, the parade is free and also a must

The Merrie Monarch Festival is in the city of Hilo, HI. Each spring (April) this event hosts Hawai'i's best and beautiful talents and arts available in one location. A must see in ones lifetime.

An all exclusive even that requires tickets well ahead of time. A Hawaiian cultural event of dancing, hula, chanting and other forms of cultural entertainment. For one week only in spring each year.
