If you are interested in a walk down the beach and want to see the fence, this is as far South as you can get before you hit Mexico.

Little known gem right on a migratory flyway. Nice, easy walking trails. Interpretative center with friendly staff. For lunch or to enjoy a dinner at sunset, walk to the end of Imperial Beach pier for a plate of the freshest seafood around.

If the tide is right, you can walk all the way from Imperial Beach (the most southern beach town in California) to the Border wall. Long, great walk.
