South Platte Park is a natural oasis within the city featuring 880 acres of open space along the South Platte River and Mary Carter Greenway Trail. Rent a bike from Breckenridge brewery by Aspen Grove and head over. The river an wildlife are allways pictures. Great for bird watching. Bring your camera or binoculars, you won't be disappointed. The nature center and parking are accessible for the disabled.

Nice walk along the river. Close to Aspen Grove shopping center. Also, good for children.
