First a juice bar and vitamin shop, Candle Cafe transformed into a juice bar and vegetarian cafe with soups, sandwiches, salads, and entrees served at spacious wooden tables. All the food is locally sourced, sustainable, eco-friendly and animal friendly—you can also go gluten-free here. Their sandwiches rival the best meat sandwiches out there. I go for the Mediterranean wrap with hummus, grilled zucchini, roasted red peppers, arugula, falafel, whole tortilla, mesclun salad, and lemon-tahini dressing.
