Great viewpoint of an unexpected waterfall. Good picnic spot. If you are feeling adventurous there is a hike down to the river to a popular wading and swimming hole (use extreme caution). Be sure to check out the abandoned power station buildings. The hike back up can be challenging! Not recommended for small children or those with mobility issues. * Water flow will vary throughout seasons.

great looking waterfall, not far from town. easy walk. you can hike further along the river if you like.
If you are looking to hike you can visit White River Falls. This a state park and has a fantastic 1/4 mile walk down into a canyon with breathtaking views of the falls and the canyon. Also a wonderful swimming hole.
Spectacular double waterfall with a trail leading down to a swimming hole and a historic powerhouse. Amazing place. A must see. Only 15 miles away. On the way, drive down the scenic lower river access road, watch rafters tackle a class 3 rapid, and, if you're lucky, watch local Native Americans dip net fish from wooden platforms as they have for centuries.
