One of our favorite places....HUGE park, nature trails, historic inn...you feel like you're miles and miles outside of any major city.
Lovely, peaceful , walking, bicycling, hiking and horse-back riding trail along Wissahickon Creek; great for picnics, strolls, dog-walking and general relaxation.
Accessible nature trails / hiking not too far from downtown. Great way to get a hike in, without going as far as Valley Forge.
Favorite place to hike in the city! Amazing trails to explore, Gorgeous views and scenery. Love to hike this then stop for brunch at the valley green inn

A beautiful park with plenty of hikes that are technically within the city and feels like you’re far outside of it.
There is parking and easy access to the countless trails. This is a great way to become one with nature
Just minutes away this park is easily accessible by walking, biking, or by car. Great for leisurely hiking or bike riding.
