An island beach on the Columbia River. Sandy and pretty. The perfect spot to walk alone on the riverfront in Fall, Winter, and Spring and watch the big ships, tankers and barges coming from across the sea to the port of Portland. Or sunbathe with the crowds in summers. Get a parking pass from the Cracker Barrel before going.
Nude beach - there are more conservative beaches before you hit this one (if you prefer). You'll see parking for these along the way. Be sure to stop at the general store after you cross the bridge onto Sauvie to get a parking pass, I think they're $5.
