Good lively pub with large outdoor garden. Good pub food served.

Once home to the blending workshop of the famous Andrew Usher (of whisky fame) the Peartree is now a hip, studenty spot with pub quizzes and a solid craft beer selection.

Nice pub, usually busy during the festival with live music during the day, lovely beer garden outside.

The beer garden, which is a gorgeous sun trap if it's not so busy you can't get in it. Live music and comedy during the festival is great, football less so. A decent selection of beers.
