The Glasgow Tower is the perfect place to see the views of Glasgow and beyond! At 127m in height, it is the tallest freestanding building in Glasgow and holds a Guinness World record for the tallest fully rotating freestanding structure in the world! Impressive eh?!

The science centre is one of Scotland’s most popular paid-for visitor attractions, located on the south bank of the River Clyde. There are over 400 interactive exhibits which offer a whole lot of learning and entertainment over 3 floors to introduce science to everyone.

Aerodynamic 100 meter tower next to the Glasgow Science Museum. The tower is shaped like a wing and can turn 360 degrees. They turn the tower for stability depending on the prevailing winds. A very modest motor turns the whole tower (or a group of a dozen people could turn the tower). Guides provide lots of useful information about the construction of the tower. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area (either the Science Museum or the Riverside Museum. Check it's open.
