Another excellent hot dog spot. They also have a bakery.

Seriously good hot dogs. Don’t even think about going to the mainstream imitator (Good Dog) as Happy Fatz is far superior. Tell the owners you’re staying with us if you like, we’ve known them for years and they’ve watched our kids grow up! Try the Perro de Mexico or the Al Capone. Did I mention the free beer and live music on Wednesday nights???

Right next door. Good for coffee and breakfast as well as gourmet hot dogs!

This is a hole in the wall restaurant that specializes in making gourmet hot dogs. Additionally, their dessert is amazing!

from Houtson Press- At first glance, a bakery-slash-hot dog stand is a strange idea. But Happy Fatz makes it work, combining the two into a charming little restaurant that's casual enough to incorporate both ideas. It doesn't feel odd to linger over a hot dog and an Italian soda in the old converted house, then follow up your meal with a miniature pineapple upside down cake or a cupcake to go. You can even add a shot of milk for $1. The dogs are better than the baked goods, though: all-beef, served in Slow Dough buns, with plenty of fresh and inventive toppings.
