Perfect place for families to play along the river, paved trails for handicapped and young children can ride a bike easily here. Many calm places to play in the river. Check out the salmon viewing window. There is a playground too.

This is right next door to us! It has a lovely wooden trail through the wetlands. Great for bird watching. You can also reserve day sites for outdoor cookouts and fires.

Nice park (small-fee) with the unique Cascade Streamwatch observation window into the Salmon River. There are flat interpretive trails that lead to the Boulder Ridge hiking trail that ascends 4.7 miles with sweet views of Mt. Hood.

This privately owned park is just up the Hwy 26 past Sandy, on the right-hand side. (Look for the sign.) This park is ADA accessible if someone is in a chair. Many trails are paved and lead you along the river. In some spots, you can see the fish through glass windows (there's a huge sturgeon there). You can also picnic, play on play equipment, and there are courts and the like for sports. It's a fun day for the $5 entry fee.
