Hands down my favorite park on San Juan. The drive there on the west side of the island is breathtaking too.
Lime Kiln Point State Park is a 42-acre Washington state park on the western shore of the island. The park is one of the best places in the world to view wild orcas! We personally saw a pod travel the length of the park for 30 minutes breaching, playing, and traveling as a family.
This state park hosts a whale "listening" experience inside the lighthouse. Wonderful trails for intermediate hiking, or grab a picnic table and enjoy the quiet and views.
