Located in the upper FQ on Iberville St. Acme is a lively, fun, New Orleans-based chain offering oysters, Po' Boys, gumbo & other Cajun-Creole classics. My favorite is the "Peacemaker" (a Po' Boy that's 1/2 fried shrimp and 1/2 fried oyster..dressed of course). You should also try the oyster Rockefeller soup. A warning... sometimes there may be a very long line outside with a long wait. If so...try Felix's across the street which is very similar and just as good. $$

Chargrilled Oysters. This is where I go for them. (Neyow's is the other, but it is much further away. Drago's is usually recommended, but I find they burn them.) There is usually a line out front, but it's a solid eatery despite the waits. They also have your typical New Orleans menu with Po-Boys, Gumbo, Red Beans, etc.
Great local place with several locations. Any type of seafood you want. Famous for its raw oysters.
Acme has really good food and drinks. Tasty chargrilled oysters, gumbo, poboys.
