It is on the top of the Gianicolo hill. There's an incredible view from that marvellous fountain and, for locals like me, it is the best way to see all city. Additionally, is far only 10 minutes on foot from the flat!

Beautiful fountain and awesome view on the walk to Trastevere. The opening scene of the Italian Paolo Sorrentino movie 'La Grande Bellezza' is filmed at the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola.

Also worth a visit is the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola, the so-called 'Fontanone', which triumphs on the slopes of the Janiculum Hill, where you can also enjoy one of the most extensive views of the city.
