You can rent kayaks and paddle boards or take a kayak tour with Esther's Marina, right in your neighborhood. at the end of the road. The back channels of Portsmouth Harbor are an amazing place to paddle.

This is where I recommend renting paddle boards and kayaks. It’s easy to walk or bike to the marina and you can boat right from there. Just be conscious of the tides.

Kayak and paddleboard rentals in the heart of Portsmouth. Launch from their shop and paddle out into some of the oldest shipping channels in Portsmouth. Enjoy views of wildlife, the Wentworth Coolidge Mansion, and other historic landmarks. Open Memorial Day weekend through summer.
