There is a bike and walking path along Bayou St. John to the Lake. It is about a 15min bike ride. You can rent bikes at the entrance of City Park at Esplanade Ave.

Just about a mile from the property, park your car and stroll along the great big Lake. Great vistas for sunsets and moon-rises.

The lake is huge! It feels almost like the ocean to be there. There are some great spots to walk along it and picnic tables etc. Great place to watch the sun set.
