Turquoise waters, hire paddle boards, golden sand. Can get busy in Summer. Parking expensive, you can walk here from St Ives.

Everyone knows St Ives, it's extremely beautiful but parking is a nightmare in the summer. Why not use the park and ride. The views from the train are breathtaking. For those who like to walk, why not walk one way stop at Carbis Bay for a drink and you will discover more amazing beaches in route. You can always jump on the train for the return journey.

This beach can be reached by a coastal walk from St Ives. It was the location of the G7 world leaders meeting last year!

This stunning beach is a 5 minutes walk straight down the hill from Wheal Comfort. It's a 10 minute walk back up :) It has the Hotel Spa, restaurants and toilets and you can hire watersports equipment from Ocean Sports Centre. It is one of our most sheltered beaches so it's great for swimming and chilling.

on the outskirts of St Ives. Lifeguards in season. Parking is right next to the beach but it is limited so try to arrive early. Lovely tranquil waters and very family friendly. There is a shop and a take away. There are toilets. Here you can also hire various watersports equipment.
