The Locke bar & restaurant is a lively spot in the medieval quarter. They have Irish music & dance sessions 7 nights. It is close to King John's Castle and St Mary's Cathedral & Hunt Museum

Another good gastropub. Head here with the rest of town on a nice day to enjoy the lively riverside beer garden. Live music, often traditional Irish, in the evenings.
