The 17th century Convento das Bernardas in Lisbon is at present home to the Puppet Museum (also known as the Marionette Museum). This is a wonderful venue to visit for people of all ages.

(10 minutes walkig distance) If you have kids, they are going to love the puppets theater museum and it's activities that include the hole family.

In addition to a huge collection of traditional Portuguese puppets, this Puppet Museum has in its collection a significant collection of Southeast Asian puppets, as well as others related to African and Brazilian ancestry. A great program to achieve in the family.

This museum is inside an old convent - Convento das Bernardas and it has a wonderful al fresco bar insiide the convent,
