Must visit. Where the fishermen cook for you in the evening. You eat with your hands, but it;s a highlight. For 5 people, it will cost you approx 250AED.

Where the fried pomfret, chilli prawns and marinated hammour have drawn a devoted following for more than two decades. Freshly caught seafood by fishermen are delivered here and cooked right away for the line of customers. This is a gem in dubai, while everything is luxury, high end and expensive this joint is very down to earth and ristic. Its all about a wallet-friendly seafood experience. The charm of Bu Qtair lies in the contradiction in its location – the sudden discovery of a seafood shack on the beach with the 7-star hotel Burj Al Arab as a backdrop, it is a novel concept for sure, that too when it is located in the poshest of posh Jumeirah beach. Seating arrangement here is basic – plastic dining tables and multi-coloured plastic tools. There is a long queue while placing the order inside the tiny portacabin and there’s a long wait outside of people and cars. So expect to wait along time.
