The Artist Cabin at Lac La Belle

The Artist Cabin is a small one room cabin located on the AVAGUE gallery property in Lac La Belle, Michigan. AVAGUE is a visionary art gallery open to the public. The Artist Cabin is a place for mature art-minded individuals and couples that are looking for a lakefront lodging experience. Rotating art exhibits will be featured on the walls of the cabin throughout the year. This studio cabin requires a walk across the street to use your private bathroom. Please do not book if this is an issue.

Your unit is part of beautiful Portage Lake Cabins a resort on Portage Lake. Enough parking for your snowmobiles. Access to the trails right outside your door. You will enjoy the many amenities in the summer which include outdoor seating, picnic tables, gas grills, beach, dock, fish cleaning station and a gazebo on the lake. We also have great water fun including a raft, slide and pedal boat for the guests. You will not want to miss the sunrises out your window. Come relax on the lake with us!

The Nest

Rest and relax surrounded by nature. This cozy guesthouse on the lake is the perfect place to slow down & connect with nature. Enjoy a sauna, take a dip in the lake, swing in the hammock, sit by the fire under the stars and breathe in the beautiful sunrise! In The Nest you will find a comfy futon, a kitchenette and a beautiful view of our cedar forest and Lake Superior. Our property features a cedar sauna and a brand new outhouse with a compostable toilet. Family friendly :)

Fisherman's Village Guesthouse

Peaceful and private guesthouse located 12 min from downtown Houghton. Guesthouse is the only building on the property which conveniently connects to Maasto Hiihto and Churning Rapids Trails for amazing mountain biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails. Enjoy a spectacular view of the Portage Canal from the second story. **Please note, there is limited/no cell service on the property, however there is wifi available for wifi-calling, texting and internet services

Two bedroom cottage, nestled in the stunning Keweenaw Peninsula, is on 330 foot of lakeshore and surrounded by forest and nature. 50 foot dock recently added. This peaceful paradise awaits your arrival, located just 15 minutes from Houghton and MTU. Sleeps 6 total. We are approximately 4.8 miles from the Dollar Bay Snow Mobile Trailhead, Great snowshoeing around the property as well. cottage is on a shared driveway with owners. About 55 minutes from Mount Bohemia.
