Tichborne : locations de vacances

We had a wonderful weekend at Josie’s cottage in Borenore, just outside of Orange. The cottage itself was beautiful, well appointed and cozy, which was perfect for early May. We really appreciated the lovely bread, jams, cheese and other goodies to get our weekend going. It was also an extremely peaceful spot, with beautiful views across the countryside, yet just a short drive to Orange and all the local cellar doors. We will be back!!

Great place to stay, Vanessa was very welcoming. Clean, comfortable beds, well equipped, great outdoor area. Would definitely recommend this place. This place also has a very interesting history. Thanks Vanessa for sharing your beautiful home.

Would give 6 stars if we could. Fantastic place to stay, wish we had stayed longer. Really peaceful, big open skys, beautiful sunsets, lovely accommodation, really comfortable beds, super clean, lots of table space and great bbq making cooking a breeze, loved the fire pit, loved the goats, secure fencing, lush green grass for our dog to walk/run on which was such a bonus. Has everything you need including a washing machine, heating, fans, place to dry your clothes in the sun. Lovely outdoor big table with plenty of shade to read, relax, watch the views. Kylie has put a lot of thought into little touches including the fresh bread and farm eggs when we arrived, the lovely candles that are locally made supporting local business. Highly recommend to anyone. Great to star gaze too. Will definitely be back :) Kylie herself was one of the friendliest hosts we have ever had, easy to talk to, made it personal and got back to you super fast.

Very homely feel. Loved the large country kitchen with all the amenities. The heated pool was a welcome distraction during the summer days. The vege garden and fig tree were a bright point that made us feel like we were truly living in the peaceful countryside. Thanks for opening your home to our family.

Perfect stay for me and my dog. Lovely place, very clean, and had all the necessary amenities. Rose was fantastic to deal with and a great host. Will definitely stay here again.

Our family had a lovely stay in Parkes at Janelle's home. Great location, quick walk to local cafes and walking distance to RSL. Roomy for 6 adults, lovely bathrooms and everything you need in the kitchen.

The Shearing Shed is a whimsical delight. It is exactly as you see in the photos. It’s spacious and the king bed is soooo comfortable. It’s rustic and charming and very relaxing. We happened to visit when Cowra was nudging 40c and the powerful a/c unit kept the whole shed perfectly cool. Viv was a fantastic host welcoming us in person, gave us the low down on the place and the local area and even called and booked us into a restaurant for our Saturday night. Their friendly animals wander about and will check in you occasionally (dogs Peter and Simba, cat Bob and the 2 horses. One of whom George visits each morning). Fantastic stay, highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Mulberry Cottage. Nat, Rob and their family are the most welcoming, warm hosts. The cottage is cosy, clean and beautifully decorated. The property is peaceful and private. Our dog loved sitting outside each morning, sniffing the breeze and all the cattle, goat, kangaroo and sheep scents that came her way 😄 It's the perfect place to spend a few days (or more) in clean, country air with a perfect night sky. We would absolutely stay again.

Maggie and Ron were great hosts, we felt right at home in their Airbnb guest house. The place had all that you'll need for a weekend's stay. Their place was very well maintained and seemed new even it was built a few years back. Maggie and Ron also went out of their way to prepare us breakfast which is homemade and grown from their garden / farm. It's just 15 mins away from the city center which makes it very convenient. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a great weekend Maggie and Ron!
