We had a great stay at the Sea Gypsy! The house is very comfortable and we would stay there again. The location is very close to the beach and Cape Kiwanda, we enjoyed exploring Bob Straub State Park, which was less than 5 minutes driving and definitely walkable from the house. The master bedroom was spacious with it's own bathroom and had such wonderfully soft sheets! The kitchen was well-equipped with good-quality pots and pans. Families with kids might want to bring their own plastic plates/ bowls/ cups for kids. Otherwise it was family-friendly and the kids enjoying the games available. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a great stay at Kathleen & Dan’s! The house was very clean & had good space for us. They have a good selection of movies & games. We were in a good, private location to be able to access different things in Rockaway & to get on the road for other coastal towns. There’s a yummy coffee drive thru right nearby too. 😊

We loved our stay at this beautiful home on the Nestucca! We loved sitting out on the deck and watching the birds - bald eagles, cormorants, turkey vultures & gulls, and a couple of cute seals swimming right near the dock. The house was very comfortable and had everything we need. We enjoyed dinner at the Riverhouse one night which is a very short walk. We'll definitely be back!

We spend Thanksgiving at this wonderful home. Lots of space and fun things to do for everyone. Just down the road is the beach, fun little store, and great food. The host was amazing and responsive. The holiday was amazing thanks to great weather and the perfect place to stay.

We had SUCH a fun time hanging out in this beautiful home and taking full advantage of its surroundings. The kids loved the freedom the bikes gave them and they had a TON of fun with the ping pong table! The grown-ups thoroughly enjoyed the view, especially all the deer who came to visit. We will definitely be back again...Thank you for your warm welcome!

Beautiful home with all the things! Kettle, coffee grinder, full of what you need to cook, enjoy coffee and relax. Great gas fireplace that made those chilly mornings so cozy. Comfy beds and super comfy couches. We lazed about, walked the dog and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Will stay again!

What a great stay. The only things i was bummed about is not being able to smoke on the property. I completely understand not smoking in houses but not being able to smoke even a vape on the property is a little extreme. But besides that great location clean and very nice host.

Dennis has the most beautiful place ever! It was the perfect weekend beach trip, such a short walk to the beach with stunning views when relaxing at the house. All of us and our dogs could not have had a better time! Thank you for the wonderful stay. 🙌❤️

We enjoyed our stay at Janell's place, it is 5 minutes or less from the beach and has beautiful views right from the windows. The house is extremely clean and well-furnished and the neighborhood is quiet and walkable. We went to Rockaway which is about 5 minutes away by car - Tillamook is about 10 minutes away also, so there is plenty to do if you want to check out a city, see stores and restaurants, grab a drink etc. We are nature people but we also like to see local cities. The weather gods graced us with perfect spring days and it was a relaxing and refreshing stay. Thank you!

Extremely clean and well laid out. Loved the snacks when we got there! Very well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds and spacious living room. Loved that we could walk to the beach. The only few small down sides are that the house is right on the main road and the two bedrooms on that side of the house were a bit loud. The shower is also kind of awkward to get in with two seats that make it feel cramped in the shower. And the last small thing is just that the garage opener had been lost and it was tedious to get in and out of the garage, so best to tell guests to just park on the street. But Ammy was very responsive about the garage and communication was smooth, helpful and friendly throughout. Our family of 7 were very comfortable and glad we could bring our dog. Thank you !!

Jodi was so helpful and responsive to all of my questions. It was a pleasure to have her as a host. The home is exactly as described and was perfect for beach combing and relaxing. I would stay here again.

Andre’s place was a perfect retreat! Lots of private outdoor space for relaxing and playing. I loved the French doors opening to the private yard. The indoor/outdoor layout was great! And it was quiet, only the sound of birdsong and waves. Everyone was relaxed and happy!

The layout of the house worked perfectly for us. My grandson loved sleeping in the upper bunk. Both rooms and beds were great and we all used the one shower so I can’t comment on the tub shower. We cooked during our stay and the kitchen was adequate. Your housekeeper might periodically check expiration dates on what’s left in the refrigerator and toss items beyond the expiration dates to avoid a mistaken use. One other modest suggestion is to add easy to carry beach chairs. We debated bringing them, but most often we have them at the house we rent. Just a thought. We had a quick morning Easter Egg hunt before we packed up and left. The weather was all Oregon from sunny days that resulted in sunburns, to rain, wind and a spectacular sunset. Our little 4 year old called it a magic house. We hope to rent it again in the future. Thank you.

We needed a last minute place to stay and were thankful that we found a place with a washer and dryer. Had a lovely stay!

This little cottage was cute. Adorable. The decor was amazing and it was absolutely spotless clean it was close walking distance to our restaurant beach the backyard was amazing for our pet. Our little Mia loved. It will definitely be back. This was an awesome weekend at Rockaway.

This was the perfect beach house for a few days away on the coast. The walk to the beach is so quick- it’s gorgeous and peaceful- not a ton of people at this time of year. We got tons of use out of the fireplace and the speaker masquerading as a record player. The kitchen is super well supplied, and the hot tub was an added bonus after going for a nearby hike. All in all this is a great spot if you’re looking for a quiet time at the coast!

This was a beautiful place to stay. We had a group of 5 girls. So two had to sleep on the couch. The couch was big enough and so comfortable. And they woke up with a great view. It was a perfect house for a girls trip. It’s so cute inside. It’s even better than the photos!! It couldn’t have been a better stay! They also have all the things you would want to do on the beach so that was really nice to have and the shops/food is not even a minute away. 10/10 you should stay here

I've returned to Scott's place multiple times and each time is a welcome reprieve from the hustle and bustle of life. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, the home is well appointed and comfortable and Scott is super friendly and responsive. Highly recommend a stay here any season.

We had a wonderful weekend stay with 8 of us. The home is in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks away from the beach and town. Easily walkable to restaurants and grocery store. The beds were comfortable, showers had great water pressure, and the home was clean and spacious. The hot tub and fire pit were really nice to have in the backyard. Would recommend for a stay in Pacific City!

Christine’s place had everything we wanted and more! We found beach wagons, tons of toys, towels, wine, chocolates and helpful extras throughout the house. Our daughter was especially excited about the jar of Oreos in the kitchen. We enjoyed some of the VHS tapes and took a trip down memory lane as children of the 90s. The house is a short walk to the beach and to downtown. We spent the the bulk of our days driving to nearby beaches, playing at the beach down the street and enjoying Manzanita. Check out Yolk and Wanda’s recommended by Christine. Both were incredible! She also provided tide pooling tips when we kept striking out. The house was amazing for our family of four but would’ve been well suited for a larger group too. The hot tub was so great after a chilly time at the beach and the playground in the backyard was amazing to burn off the kiddos energy. We are obsessed with the king bed. It was so comfortable! Would love to visit again!!

Oh my gosh. This place is paradise. A group of us stayed here last year (8 people +2 dogs) during a rainy April weekend. Even in bad weather, we enjoyed it so much we all returned -- this time on a sunny April weekend -- and WOW what a difference the sun makes! I felt so at peace on the deck, floating in a kayak, chasing my (usually reactive) dog around the beach, even just washing my face in the wonderfully decorated bathroom. I also loved seeing the updates John and Heather made since our last stay, they are clearly putting money back into the cabin. In short, I feel like I can breathe more deeply here than anywhere else. We will definitely be back next year, and hopefully the year after, and so on....thank you John and Heather for cultivating this wonderful place!

The home was even more stunning in person, the giant windows lit the house up, I loved the view. Having 3 master bedrooms with full bathrooms connected to each was so cool, and being able to bring our dogs along of course. The hot tub, pool table are such a cool extra bonus. A jacuzzis bathtub and fireplace in each of the 3 master bedrooms was so special. Royce was so friendly, we unfortunately could only stay one night and he accommodated for that in every way- really really amazing experience overall.

The house was absolutely lovely! Clean and had everything we needed. The street traffic is a little noisy throughout the night and there isn’t an ocean view. But it is only a few minutes walk to the beach and you can still hear the waves from the house. The host is also fantastic! She made sure everything went smoothly for us. Thank you!
