We had a great night's stay. very clean & comfortable studio unit. The property is rural but easy to find on GPS and not far from SH1. Gerard & Trish have created a wonderful garden, including native bush, which Gerard showed us around. Nice continental breakfast was also provided, with some of their own produce. Even a couple of Easter eggs as we were there Easter Sunday. Highly recommend.

A lovely, peaceful little stay! Perfect little home away from home while we were traveling. The owner was kind enough to let our dog have a run in the paddock which was wonderful. And the owner's two dogs, Blue and Rocket were absolute sweeties. Will definitely stay again if we are passing through!

The accommodation is to the rear ground floor of the building directly of State Highway 1, but there was very little road noise. The accommodation was both spacious and private and we had the choice of either bedroom. It is just a room so there are limited facilities but you could make a drink or snack. Kylee was a very responsive and friendly host. She is not on site but responds quickly to communications. Timaru itself is a coastal town with good supermarkets and restaurants but if your timing is good, you can see penguins coming in to roost at dusk at, Caroline beach, by the port.

It was a lovley and amazing place to stay. The surrounding is beautiful. I would surely be booking this place, if I am visiting there again.

We enjoyed staying here on our first visit to Timaru. Easy access to the large community park and Caroline Bay across the street. Beautiful decor and furnishings made our stay very comfortable. The windows kept things quiet and offered a terrific view of the bay. The patio was a great perk. We had a fun time on bikes on Hector’s Coastal Trail but the highlight was seeing a blue penguin at the port! Hope to come back again.

Ethan's place was fabulous. It was home away from home. Extremely comfortable and cosy. Lovely and warm, very comfortable beds. Lots of treats for us as well - a bowl of fruit and some delicious shortbread on arrival. Ethan is a great communicator as well. Highly recommend.

awesome plac to stay in timaru. very comfy beds and heaps of space all around. ideal for a group 4 adults. strong recommendation.

We had an excellent stay, the house is very comfortable & quiet. Amazing views, log burner, stainless steel hot tub was excellent, the house is a lovely modern design and was extreamly comfortable. Kids loved the bunk beds, and outside space. Us adults loved the log burner , comfortable beds, and the views ! Rowan is an excellent host, very friendly and responsive. Very much recommended, we’d 100% rent again next time we are in the area.

An Incredible Stay – Highly Recommend! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was immaculately clean, and had everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect and quiet, yet with easy access by car to surrounding areas and nearby cafes, and shops. We truly felt like we were staying in a home away from home. I can't recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again on our next trip!

Casey was a superb and friendly host—she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The house was warm and ready when we arrived, spotless throughout, and in a great location. All the amenities were thoughtfully provided. Very good host and Airbnb—highly recommended!
