Matakatia is a tidal inner harbour beach with safe swimming in summer, and for the brave in winter.

Located almost at the tip of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, right next to Shakepear Regional Park and Army Bay, this little self-contained studio will be a perfect spot for a staycation or a comfortable base allowing to enjoy Hibiscus Coast's glorious beaches, walks and golf courses. Relax with a cup of tea on the sea facing deck or enjoy one of the beautiful cliff walks nearby.

Only a quick walk to the beach and Manly village there is plenty to keep you occupied and a great choice of places to eat and drink. The bay is perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, stand up paddling, windsurfing, sailing or just relaxing. Manly Sailing Club is across the road and hosts many regattas. The open plan studio is new and beautifully finished, located above the owners garage with a separate entrance.

Orewa by the Beach - Coastal living

Centrally located at the heart of the famous Orewa beach in the Hibiscus Coast of North Auckland region, 200m distance from the surf beach and 350m from the entrance of the 8km estuary walk/cycle way. The shops, supermarkets , cafes, restaurants/bars, take aways and fast foods are 1km walk. We only offer a quiet , comfortable room to stay in - Parties, visitors and binge drinking are not allowed.
