A stunning view and lovely cottage. Alan is very communicative and gave descriptive directions. Easy enough to find with navigation. You will need to bring all food and spices needed for cooking. Couldn’t find hair dryer as listed, but no big deal since it was so windy anyway. Be sure to visit Yurtea&Coffee right down the road, fabulous place.

What a magical and unforgettable place. We had the most incredible stay, with everything we could ever need for comfort, fully equipped kitchen, warm welcome from the hosts, and magical views every morning and evening. We even got to meet the cutest puppy ever! If you seek that feeling of being at the end of the world, surrounded by pure and unspoiled nature, mountains, and sea, this is the place to be. We were very lucky to have great weather for incredible hikes at Torridon Hills, which we highly recommend to anyone who loves mountain hiking. This is the place that will stay in our hearts forever.

Great cottage with lovely views and only a couple of minutes walk to the Applecross Inn. Recommended.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, comfortable and homely. The beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed was available. The location was convenient to the local restuarants, takeaways and supermarkets. There was the added touch of milk in the fridge and bread to start us off - much appreciated. Jim was very helpful and get in touch to make sure we were settled. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property.

Perfect property for a couple of nights. Really well kitted out with absolutely everything included plus a washing machine. Good base to explore North Uist

Perfect apartment for husbands work trip. I was lucky to join him last time but sadly not on this occasion. Added gifts were a bonus!

Everything was just as we had expected from the listing. We enjoyed our stay and had no problems. Very comfortable overall.

We were very happy about our choice of cottage; particularly as it is pet friendly. Our hosts were very proactive in terms of communication - it was good to be warned about being well prepared in terms of provisions - no nearby shops! The cottage is wonderfully peaceful which suited us; it was also wonderfully warm - especially the bathroom with its heated floor; this made the cottage an excellent retreat on the one day of bad weather that we had , if necessary the bathroom could have been used as a drying room! We enjoyed the space; properties with just one bedroom can be cramped but as the photos show, there is a table with 4 chairs in the kitchen; the lounge has two sofas and in the bedroom you can easily walk on both sides of the bed. The bedroom has generous storage. The surrounding garden is a delight. Another reason for choosing Blossom Cottage was that it was reasonably close to the Three Chimneys restaurant. There are many excellent walks nearby, some of which we enjoyed.

Driftwood Cottage is my all-time favorite Airbnb stay. Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful, yet so much to do nearby (Quiraing Hike is a must and just down the road!) Everything down to the bedsheets exceeded our expectations, and you can’t beat waking up to baby lambs outside your window 🐑
