Welcome to Wagtail Air BNB! Our little Wagtail Nest offers a private, relaxing and romantic experience. We are located fifteen minutes from the ninety-mile beach (Seaspray) and ten minutes from the township of Sale where there are pubs, restaurants and ample shopping. Koala Kottage’s refurbished interior features a living area, dining area, exquisite large en suite bathroom with garden courtyard view and an ultra modern fully equipped kitchen . There is also an eating area and BBQ outside on the vine covered deck or make use of the seated fire pit area with a barbecue cooking plate . The Kottage features vaulted timber lined ceilings with sky light. Surrounded by a natural habitat of gum trees, koalas, kangaroos and colourful native birds.

Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

Set on the beautiful Gippsland lakes, this newly renovated cottage has everything you need for a luxurious and comfortable trip away. The cottage is located in Marine Parade behind an art gallery, everything is in walking distance, with space to park your car and boats. (A mooring on the adjacent jetty is available for additional fee). Across the road from the property is the beautiful Gippsland lake, ready for you to put the boat in and explore.

Kings View, Kings Cove, Metung

As evidenced by the feature photo, the house offers sweeping views of Lake King and the Boole Poole Peninsula. This panoramic view now includes the Metung Hot Springs resort, our new neighbours, positioned some 20 metres from our water view deck. Construction of Stage 1, a glamping and hot pools offer, is now open. Book on the MHS website to secure your relaxing hot pools experience.
