Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

Great hangout for our annual MTB trip from Ohio. Super cool themed interior, awesome hot tub for post ride recovery. Very well equipped kitchen, didn’t need to go buy a spatula or toaster like so many rental homes.

Beautiful view and plenty of room for our family. Kerry responded quickly to my questions and gave clear directions. I’m glad she recommended to stay on paved roads since we arrived at night and alternate routes take you down gravel roads. Convenient location for our stay to enjoy snow tubing and amenities at the Sapphire Valley Community Center.

This is an absolutely magical place! The whole living room/dining room feels like you are in a tree house with the walls of glass, high ceilings, post and beam architecture...so beautiful! Nathan was an awesome host, communicative and kind. It was super clean upon arrival. The beds are very comfortable. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Definitely need a car that has all wheel drive or 4WD to get up the driveway in the beginning. We were in a minivan and we had to try 4 times and get a rolling start off the main road to get some power behind us. If my husband wasn't driving I'm not sure I would've been able to do it myself. So, I would take that note in the description seriously. I am so refreshed after my weekend there. Such an amazing house. Spent so much time on the covered deck lounging listening to the birds. Absolutely beautiful house with an extraordinary view of the mountains! House was very well kept, and plenty of room to spread out in the place. Comfy couches and blankets upstairs and down that allowed our family to relax together after our hiking! The windows in the house allow a lot of natural sunlight and provide breath taking views even from within. David was very helpful getting us to his place and providing clear instructions of how to get in and of what he expects. We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you!

It was one of the best vacations I've ever had, a beautiful and complete house, a wonderful and peaceful place, lush landscapes, beautiful waterfalls, I want to go back to the same place in the summer to be able to enjoy the lakes better. I recommend it to everyone.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful property, and once again, it was absolutely perfect for our group! The accommodations were thoughtfully designed, with separate quarters we were able to use for males and females, which worked out wonderfully. There were plenty of activities for all age groups, and the space was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked — they truly thought of everything. Highly recommend for any group looking for a peaceful and well-planned mountain getaway!

We had a fabulous girls trip at this property in North Asheville. Woodfin is a great location and had walkable restaurants nearby. It’s only a 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville. 16 minutes to the Biltmore House. The property itself was amazing. We had six ladies on the trip and we all felt that there was more than enough space in this home. Plenty of bathrooms. Nice open concept kitchen and living room. The gas fireplace was an awesome perk. Hot tub was very enjoyable in the cool December night. And the wine fridge upstairs near hot tub was a delight. Highly recommend this property as well as the other YONDER properties. I would definitely use this property again when I return to Asheville.

The most incredible Airbb and host! Such a beautiful home to enjoy for our girls trip, it was so hard to leave! Felt like we were in the mountains yet 12 minutes from downtown. So peaceful and private and panoramic views! Simply breathtaking! This home had several outdoor areas to enjoy with our group of eight and lots of places to gather inside and be all together in the same room. Home is so well furnished with such comfortable surroundings and generous amenities! Toiletries, beach towels for hot tub, yoga mats and weights, coffee/tea bar, and arcade room. I cant say enough positive things about this home. Planning on returning with couples! Christina was so attentive and pro-active. She even ordered some games for our group to enjoy for our stay. Code names, Five Crowns and Rummikub. Communication was suburb and details to operate things in house are clearly labeled and well thought out. Thank you for letting us enjoy!

The property is gorgeous—perched in the mountains with a stunning view and the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen. It felt like we were alone on the edge of the world in the most peaceful, private, and serene setting. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Julie had curated every detail with love and intention. The atmosphere was designed to promote relaxation and connection with nature—something we felt in every corner of the space. We also opted for the romance package and it was beyond worth it. Candles lined the path to the outdoor tub, and we were greeted with champagne, wine, and a fresh fruit board. It was elegant, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable. Julie has thought of everything. This is a place we plan to return to at least once a year for as long as we live in North Carolina. It’s more than just a stay—it’s an experience we’ll never forget.

We had such a great stay! We brought our two dogs and there was so much room and space for all of us.

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

Eric was a wonderful host. Directions were very clear and understanding. Although the thermostat is split , Eric was very understanding an adjusted as needed. Great location and get away spot for couples. Very quiet and secured . We will definitely come back!

We stayed for four nights. The views from this home are more incredible than any picture could capture. We stay in many rental homes when we travel. This is the most well appointed kitchen we’ve ever used. Communication with the host was easy and rarely needed. Lots of great instructions on how to do things around the house. And the space was just simply beautifully decorated. I wanted to spend time with my family in a beautiful home with a breathtaking view. This home did just that! Thank you for sharing your home.

It was good overall but it would be way better after construction would be done and I do not recommend grandparents to go because of walking on the hills, but other than that everything was amazing!! Place was clean and tidy, had hood communication with Hollie and the scenery and weather really helped us made the trip better..

Sundog was a fantastic host. Great communication before, during, and after the stay. The cabin was beautiful and everything we wanted for our family Christmas gathering. Highly recommend Sundog and the Havilah Falls house.

Beautiful home, very spacious with plenty of places to place and hang clothing. The bathrooms were clean and spacious as well. The fireplace made the room feel so cozy in the evening! Peaceful back porch, plenty of seating with quick walk to a beautiful stream. We had a great few days with our kids!

Has a fantastic stay at this lovely home. it felt really special and the place is just dripping in springtime beauty. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay while mountain biking around Pisgah and DuPont. Would come back.

Hugh's place is a real retreat. Hugh was very responsive. We used the jacuzzi each evening, a real treat. We also walked around the area and drove to waterfalls, hikes and restraunts about 25 minutes away. We look forward to going back.

Cabin was great for a weekend getaway! Kids loved feeding the fish and the bunk beds. Traveled down to Brevard for the day for groceries and a meal. Even got to see a white squirrel!

This is probably the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to. Everything from the scenery to the peace and quiet of being in the woods. Everything was perfect. I usually am skeptical and worry about traveling and where to stay but this place was top tier. The hot tub was our favorite haha. This is a perfect place if you want to be secluded while also being close to the main attractions. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will definitely be our place when we come back!

Perfect place to stay in Brevard!! Very peaceful setting! We loved the privacy and the hot tub was amazing after our Foothills thru hike! Would definitely book again!
