We have built our studio in the back yard of our home so that we can specifically host guests. We have a separate entrance for our Airbnb visitors so you can access your home away from home privately. Adjoining the room is a beautiful, tranquil deck area perfect for a relaxing cuppa or wine. The beach is a short stroll away through the bush track. If you like adventure you can get out an explore nearby Fraser Island or 4wd along the beach to Double Island Point. Join Sally for an early morning bird watch or bird count from the main house verandah, wander the back paddocks, and take in the glorious sunsets. We’re just 8 km from the heritage city of Maryborough, 35 minutes from Hervey Bay, and about an hour and a half from Rainbow Beach. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet (except for some noisy birds).

Riverview Getaway is a single storey 3 bedroom fully contained home with sweeping views of the Mary River taking in the Granville Bridge, cane fields and Bauple Mountain Range. It is a perfect base for a family holiday or a couples getaway exploring the Fraser Coast and our beautiful heritage city "Maryborough". The terraced river bank allows access to a large river flat and deepwater river frontage. Please note that the bank is steep but you are more than welcome to explore.
