Located on the Black River Canal which offers trails for hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking , and snowmobiling within steps from the cabin. Bring your side by side or snowmobiles and leave from the cabin to access miles of trails both locally and in the Tug Hill region. 3 mi. from the cabin is a superb 18 hole well maintained golf course. After a fun day of riding, hiking, biking or kayaking relax in the woods around a cozy fire.

The Old Lewis County Jail at St. Drogo's house is part of a revitalization and repurposing of the county's old jail. In addition to this residence, St. Drogo's house has a coffee roastery / coffee bar as well as an artisanal bakery located on the first floor. Wake up to the smell of freshly baking croissants and espresso! Lowville is in the geographical center of Lewis County. We're a stone's throw from the Adirondacks, the Black River and the Tug Hill. A bathroom with shower. Bring charcoal for the grill or cook right over the fire with the grid!
