This cabin was spectacular! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home, the cozy atmosphere was amazing! There was so much room for everyone to spread out and have their own space and I must mention how incredibly clean this cabin was with all the amenities that we needed. The peaceful surroundings of the cabin, the dock and the lake with the beautiful sunsets was just what we were looking for. There was plenty to do for our kids inside and outside of the home. We experienced beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls nearby, which we thoroughly enjoyed! For anyone reading you have to try the Italian Café in downtown Blairsville, The food is incredible! Thank you to Joni and team for being so responsive with any questions and for the recommendations for this surrounding area!

Had a fantastic stay here for a family get-together. House was extremely beautiful. Interior design and layout were top notch. Orientation of the house also yielded phenomenal views of lake and mountains. Furthermore the house was just very very comfortable to reside in. I rate this house and the entire experience a 10 out of 10.

Can I just say WOW?!?! This stay was truly a dream Christmas family vacation that we will never forget. We had more fun spending time in the cabin than we did going anywhere else. There was space for the adults and kids to equally enjoy. The hosts were so caring and accommodating and even had a Christmas tree put up for us before we got there. The amenities, the space, the cleanliness, etc., were incredible! Lifelong memories, thank you so much!!!

The cabin was perfect! Clean, comfy, lots of board games! We enjoyed our stay!

Our family recently stayed here and our experience was wonderful! This lake home is really beautiful with such attention to detail. The house was immaculate, free of clutter and homey feeling. The view out to the lake was incredible and the outside area is serene, peaceful and secluded. We had a wonderful time and appreciated both the home itself and the rental agency.

Great location, great house layout. Kitchen stove could use better cleaning or replacement (had some burnt on stuff that filled the house with smoke on first use), was not a major issue. Grill should definitely be replaced at this point. Other than those minor things we had a great stay. Game room and kayaks were a huge plus. So was the private dock access. Very friendly neighbours.

Janet was the best host I’ve ever had—extremely responsive and super flexible. My children loved the entire space, and we enjoyed a beautiful breeze from the balcony. We had a little storm during our stay, but it was no big deal. Everything was close by, including the lovely park in Hiawassee. We had an amazing time riding horses in Brasstown, making s’mores, flying kites, and panning for gems in Helen—just good old-fashioned fun. The kids especially loved the bunk beds with the Beddy’s sheets. We were able to stream cartoons for them and make breakfast using the griddle. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable few days!

The place is so beautiful and peaceful. Exactly what we were wanting! Kids loved the cows as well!

Adorable efficiency suite . Great view of the lake and suitable areas to walk our dog. Very clean and quiet. Was an easy drive into Hiawassee.

The resort is lovely! It’s a nice get away. Just keep in mind cell service is limited in this area! It’s beautiful. 😍

Terri was a wonderful host. She gave us hiking and restaurant ideas and was accommodating to our 1 year old who can be a handful. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Big Canoe.

This place was perfect! Super comfy, especially the bed and super soft sheets! Loved the screened in porch view, being elevated, looking down at the lake, felt so naturesque and private!

Margarita's place had everything we needed, and were looking for for an impromptu weekend getaway. It was close to the Jackrabbit trails, which we enjoyed with friends, and the lake. Plus, we enjoyed a bonus sunset drink, with some great food truck bbq, on the new dock bar! We would definitely stay again.

Cozy, clean cottage with a comfy bed. Stayed a week and enjoyed it, close to lake. Quiet area but you can hear footsteps from above since it’s a duplex.

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

We loved our stay at Terry's place in the beautiful mountains of western NC! His place is super comfortable, bright, and convenient to everything. Terry was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay! While a bit remote, the house was really nice and exactly as pictured. It’s in a quiet and peaceful location on the lake. Bob was responsive and has the house well stocked. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and getting out on and exploring the lake.

This was one of the most magical places we have ever stayed. I can’t speak highly enough about this cottage and its surroundings. It was luxurious, spotless, and had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. Close to town with great shops and restaurants, but also very private and serene. One of the best trips we have taken in a very long time. I can’t recommend this beautiful home enough.

Me and my girlfriend visited Helen and blue ridge and decided to wind down here for a night, extremely nice and well done cottage, has everything you need and he even provided a jug of spring water for us in the fridge, shower was nice along with the lighting in it, Mr. Willie is a good man and wished us safe travels and goodbye before we checked out, would recommend to anyone trying to see blue ridge or Helen, beautiful morning view in the driveway too. You have an ingles down the road so that’s very useful as well!

Beautiful home! Susan is awesome and communication was incredible. She really made our stressful wedding weekend easier and I truly appreciate her going the extra mile to assist with our special accommodation needs.

This was our second stay here and we will return again. This Lake Burton cottage is so tranquil and beautiful. Amazing views, a great screened in porch and just so peaceful. Thank you.

I can't say enough about our stay here. Everything we may have needed was available. The wildlife was amazing. We saw deer every day on our walks. The dock was perfect for our boat and swimming. it's where we spent most of our time. The jacuzzi was a treat. Beds were extremely comfortable. There are 3 kings. The pics show one room w/ 2 twins, but that is not the case. Thankfully my boys didn't have to share a room this time or that would have been an issue (insert mom eyeroll here). Short 30 minute drive to beautiful Helen. Grocery store and fast food is easy to get to. We had a wonderful week and did not want to leave. Thank you Karen for a beautiful home and a wonderful stay. We hope to be back next summer!
