My family (me, husband, and three children) stayed for the weekend. We really enjoyed the home. It was well suited to our needs. As specified in the description, we made sure the children did not play in the basement but we did use the sauna as well as the laundry facilities. The snow was melting as it is spring time and there was quite a bit of animal feces in the yard. Considering it was Easter weekend we did a quick egg hunt for our children in the back yard and that is when we noticed. Our children played mostly on the deck or in the front Upon check out we were sure to follow the instructions and messaged our host to notify our departure. We were surprised, however, to receive a message from the host accusing us of bringing a dog into the home. We do own a dark haired Irish wolfhound who stays home and is mainly an outdoor dog. We always get him a sitter when we travel as he is too big to travel with. I would suggest the host install a front door camera to avoid these issues

“Home Away From Home” is an accurate description. Upon walking in we felt right at home. The house is cozy and charming, and Lori made it such a welcoming space for our Christmas stay. With my siblings and in-laws visiting my parents, we can’t all fit in my parents’ house. We needed the space and this was perfect. We can definitely see ourselves staying here again in the future. Lori was great about communicating and responding. Overall, a great host and a great stay. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming home in a quiet and accessible neighborhood. 10/10.

Husband, best friend and myself stayed 1 night, but it was perfect! Had Disney plus to watch, the beds were very comfortable! We all slept great! Very convenient spot for what was intended for us. Definitely recommend! Very beautiful drive there.

Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully provisioned. Perfect rendezvous point for family coming from Traverse City, Houghton, and WNY. Enjoyed a surprisingly sunny spring afternoon on the back porch. A good jumping off point for “up north” attractions, but we were happy to just cook together and visit.

Mary is a great and kind host. She made ourselves like feeling at home. Homemade muffins were greatly appreciated. She also made us an extra gifts by proving some extra toys for our toddler. She was also flexible with check in and check out. Very nice decorated home!!

We had a last minute problem with our reservation at a nearby place and made a last minute request to stay at Pam's. She responded within minutes and we were on our way. Pam's place is in a great location, is very spacious and was perfect for our needs. The place is very clean, very nicely decorated and well maintained. We would love to stay here again.

Had a great stay and loved the recommendation for the whitefish tots. The decor was amazing and the beds were super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area. We did have a little bit of an issue with the internet cutting in and out but the host walked us through the process to reset it and we were able to reconnect.

This was a great suite with everything you could want. Melissa and Dunbar made everything easy and assisted promptly with check-in. There’s a pretty sweet little pub right below too that’s worth a visit. Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay while in town to ski. Easy walking distance to restaurants for a person that enjoys walking, even in the cold. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute airbnb!! Don and Jill

I enjoyed my 5 nights stay at Lois’s place. She is very helpful , welcoming, sincere,understanding and accommodating. I had no regret staying at this home. Everywhere was spotless and tidy. I had a wonderful stay at Holly's home The home is older. it's clean and very comfortable. The house is close to the old downtown, which has a number of restaurants, shops and a town Square park. Holly is a great host. She checked to make sure everything was going well. She also gave recommendations on places to see. I highly recommend Holly's and her home!

Host was fantastic, super clear instructions, quick to respond and extraordinarily generous on check out. Had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay again.

This unit has a great location that is a short walk to the downtown. Checking in went smoothly and the unit was well maintained.

Nick's place was great. Super clean and cozy. Electric fireplace was great to have when coming in from the cold. Beds were comfortable. Had everything we needed. Would like to point out that for a person who needs a fan( other than a ceiling fan) to sleep, it was nice to see that each bedroom had a box/ oscillating fan in the closet. Might seem trivial...but it meant 2 great nights of sleep for me. 😁 . Location was great. Very close to downtown Boyne City. Cute lil up north town. 10-15 drive to Boyne Mountain. Also very easy and relatively close drive to Charlevoix and Petoskey. Great for a 1/2 day or day trip. Nick was responsive in a timely manner. All was very good. Would stay again for sure.

Great place, great location. Just confirm all amenities are still available if needed for your trip. We brought food to grill based on listing. We’re unable to grill and did not have proper necessities. Pricey mistake.

Lovely little condo and it is the first door closest to the parking garage. Then only up half a flight of stairs and you were there. Only downfall was parking - the lot out back has less than 20 spaces, some of them handicapped. So we had to pay the $20/day to park overnight in the garage next door. The back parking lot was also not plowed well at all so walking thru on your way to places was a bit treacherous in December. But, all things out of the owner's control. Everything inside was pristine and beautiful. p Plenty of extra blankets and pillows too!

Julie’s space was prefect for a little getaway. Plenty of room and a big kitchen. The location was about a 8 minute walk to the downtown which was easily accessible. Julie was communicative and left some recommendations. Would definitely come back!
