Aldeia da Encosta - AL 302

Modern vacation house implanted on the hang above the small town of Velas, in São Jorge Island, with a unique view over the ocean channel between the triangle islands (São Jorge, Pico and Faial). They are 5 walking minutes (going downhill) from the centre of Velas (shopping, cafés, restaurants), and 10 minutes from the natural swimming pools in the ocean. Please take into consideration that the return way on foot includes a steep climb of about 100 meters. It is 700 m until the harbour of Velas.

Casa de campo tradicional da Ilha de São Jorge , construída há 100 anos por nossos bisavós,era nessa altura uma pequena casa e palheiro,onde guardavam os animais que trabalhavam na lavoura. Está localizada a poucos metros do mar em um local absolutamente tranquilo. A zona envolvente é ótima para passeios, caminhadas e banhos no mar. Cabanas da Viscondessa Studio

Merge with the lush nature of São Jorge Island in this comfortable studio, conveniently placed in the middle of the island of São Jorge, not far from the airport and the town of Velas. This studio has private bathroom and balcony, air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchen area, TV, blackouts and free high speed internet. The guests can choose between a king-sized bed or two separate beds. And there is a sofa that can be used as an extra bed for a small child (under 130cm in height).

This tradicional stone house rightly bears the name "Casa Vista Fantástica". Look forward to a fantastic, unobstructed view of the wide Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of Pico with Portugal's highest mountain "Montanha do Pico", 2,351m. The rooms go up to the roof and convey a great feeling of space. The jewel of the house is the large conservatory, wich is glazed on 3 sides inluding the roof, and which might be better be called a summer garden.

Solar-powered wine house located in the Landscape of Pico Island Vineyard Culture - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just a couple of minutes driving from Madalena village, this traditional and remodeled wine house has its own vineyard on the backyard. A cozy space for two with a bedroom, kitchenette open to living room and a bathroom. The wine house is overlooking the ocean, Faial island and Pico mountain.

Bem-vindo aos AMU, um tesouro de AL situado numa casa ancestral de pedra, recentemente restaurada, com história, foi lar do famoso Dr. Armando da Cunha Narciso, um médico hidrologista, investigador e escritor de renome, considerado um dos maiores peritos em termalismo em Portugal durante o seu tempo, entre 1890 e 1948.

Stay in a dream lava home with a heated outdoor pool and an incredible sea view. Close to the sea, this lava house was fully restored from the ruins of a hundred-year-old lava house. We just installed the pool heating system so that, even in Winter, you can have a swim - Bliss!
