Little annex in gorgeous Devon countryside

Relax in the countryside & enjoy the beautiful outdoors. This annex is a new addition on a 300 year old thatch farmhouse. You have your own private space, direct access from road, a small fenced garden and a parking space. The flat has a double bed, en-suite, and lounge-diner with sofabed for kids. You can use our garden, canoes, beach kit, bikes & golf swing cage if you want. Easy walks right into fields, & along the River Tale or Otter. If you need more space, we have a barn on the property.

The Piggery is a one bedroom, self contained cottage. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty in rural East Devon, the coastline and stunning beaches are only 15 minutes away. A well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar for dining. An open plan living area with wall mounted smart television. One spacious bedroom with wall mounted television and a contemporary walk in shower, we provide towels/dressing gowns for your convenience. There is a secure fenced decking area for alfresco dining.

Enjoy a stay with friends and family to explore and enjoy the beautiful Devon countryside from your own self contained Victorian farmhouse with stunning views, lots of outdoor space and a hot tub. Built in 1887, and owned by the Pyle family for over 100 years, the farmhouse is surrounded by fields with sheep and cider apples. We are on site and therefore able to offer a personal and friendly service to help with anything you may need during your stay. Dogs are welcome (small fee per night)

Just a 10 minute drive takes you to the stunning coastal town of Sidmouth, with its famous red cliffs & festivals. Or explore vibrant Exeter, just 15 mins.

Branscombe Chalet on the Beach

‘Curlew' is on East beach in the lovely Devon village of Branscombe. It has a unique position right on the beach on a raised elevation, throw open the balcony doors and you are looking out onto the ever changing sea and stunning coastline which is a World Heritage site and area of outstanding natural beauty. Two fine pubs supplying excellent food and locally brewed ales in the village and amazing cliff path walks East or West. Now a bookable sauna on the beach and free parking can be arranged

Cosy recently renovated country 1 bed cottage.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The cottage is an excellent base for a countryside and coastal getaway in Devon. The fully self-contained one bed cottage sits in private grounds with parking and great access to transport links. Just 7 minutes from m5 jcn 29 and Exeter airport or a 12 minute walk from Whimple train station. Exeter has great tourist facilities and restaurants. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the ground floor only. Please don’t plan on leaving your dog alone.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

The Hideaway

Beautifully appointed rural getaway. Perfect for Couples looking to unwind and relax. This detached dwelling has an en-suite bedroom with garden views and a separate living room with a kitchenette, table, sofa and TV. The outside area has a picnic bench and an area to store bicycles. The property is adjacent to Aylesbeare Common, a wildlife haven offering ample hiking trails and only a 15 minute drive to the seaside town of Sidmouth or 20 minutes from Exmouth. Exeter is 30 minutes by car.

This lovely spacious cottage is adjacent to the owner's house, set in 3 acres of gardens and beautiful countryside in the heart of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a great base for walking, cycling, touring, shopping, eating and drinking ...and curling up in front of the log fire. Sidbury village is a 20 min walk away. And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!

Shepherd’s hut near Sidmouth, dog friendly!

Set within your own private garden in the grounds of our farmhouse, the shepherd's hut provides an ideal countryside spot. The garden is fully fenced/walled so secure for dogs. Inside there is underfloor heating, so is warm and cosy. Close to the River Otter, with beautiful walks along the river and through ancient woodland, plus the East Devon Footpath passing along the lane outside. There are local pubs to walk to and just a 10 minute drive from the seaside town of Sidmouth.

Stylish Guest House in East Devon

Enjoy the Devonshire countryside from our family home! Higher Allercombe Guest House is an extension of our house, meaning we live under the same roof, but you have sole occupancy of the guest house, separated by a locked internal door, separate private entrance and outdoor eating area. It has king size and double ensuite bedrooms and a superking or twin ensuite room. There are internet TVs in each bedroom and the lounge with Amazon Prime, Disney + and good Wifi.
