Cette maison en pierre se trouve au bord du lac, lieu de prédilection de George Clooney, sur une terrasse verdoyante, à 200 m au-dessus du lac et offrant une magnifique vue panoramique. De nombreux sentiers de randonnée passent juste devant la porte, comme la Via Monte Lariani, dont un ancien sentier part de Côme et se termine à Sorico, dernier village au nord, offrant une vue imprenable sur le lac, ses baies et ses promontoires. La Villa Iolanda est à environ 5 à 10 minutes à pied du parking public. La plage est à environ 10 minutes à pied et 2 minutes en voiture. Excursion : Le refuge La Canua (1 500 m) est à seulement 20 minutes en voiture et une heure de marche.
