This cabin is just wonderful and our 2 families had an excellent stay. You can walk/ ski to the piste easily and there’s a great space for learners just there. Everything you need including a really good drying room/ store & sauna is there & the kitchen is well equipped and there’s games etc too. There is parking for 2 cars. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms lovely- we would all like to come back one day. Gausta is a small resort good for all types of skiing but also has a lovely hotel with great floating sauna/ bar. We drove to the telemark husky company at rauland ski area and stopped at a great cafe with huge snow play area on the way- would definitely recommend as a day out! Eric’s place was great- and he was super helpful

Vi var en familie med 5 børn og seks voksne som lejede hytten i en uge for at stå på langrend. Hytten var helt perfekt ekstremt autentisk og godt indrettet. Udsigten fra hytten er usammenlignelig. Skal du på Alpin er det enkelt at komme til Solheisen kun 3 km derfra. Vi kørte ud fra hytten hver dag og fandt gode langrendsløyper indenfor en halv time i bil.

Great house has everything you could need, especially if like us you are cooking for yourselves, the kitchen has everything. Beds were very comfortable. The location is very central for everything in the town.

Beautiful cottage, plenty of room for the four of us. We had everything we needed and it was great to be so close to the skisenter! We would love to stay again 😊

A lovely, homely place to stay for the week. Very well equipped house, comfortable and the fire pits to sit round are lovely of an evening. Good access to the ski slopes with young children and the surrounding scenery is stunning. Susan couldn’t be more helpful with arrival information and practical advice and suggestions for the local area. Would love another holiday here. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Vielen Dank, dass wir diese gemütliche und wunderschöne Hütten nutzen durften. Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit, umgeben von Ruhe, wunderbarer Natur, viel Schnee und Polarlichtern. Zudem war die Hütte noch liebevoll weihnachtlich dekoriert, so dass wir uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! Unfortunately we were only staying for one night on our way from Bergen to Stavanger. The host was very kind. The location was very peaceful with view over the fjord. Highly recommend – we’d love to come back someday!

Awesome place with fantastic views!! Peaceful with walks at the doorstep and nearby several attractions. Definitely recommend Arild’s place!!
