We loved our stay at this condo. The location is awesome (Kamaole Sands is a great resort located right across the street from multiple beaches) and it has amazing views. It is situated in the back of the complex overlooking the pool and has great views of the beach and the sunsets. The condo was very clean and the owners were proactive in their communication. We really enjoy the area with lots of shops to walk to while still being calm and peaceful. We would love to stay in this condo again and can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you for letting us stay and we hope to be back someday.

The deer up was perfect for our little family, giving much needed space to the kiddo to get away from his parents, but keeping everything close. A great set of supplies for the beach to boot.

Super central spot in Maui to hang out and get to and from other areas on the island! There’s a pool, tennis courts, and a parking lot - quick drive to the airport, and no more than 30-40 minutes from the furthest spots that we wanted to check out to unwind for the rest of our Maui journey after Haleakala. Ample room in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, and a great WiFi! There’s a basket of tennis balls and rackets, snorkel fins, masks, and even anti-fog. (Loved Ahihi-Kinau Nature Preserve!) Beach towels came in handy to stay dry afterwards too :) truly had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing stay! Make sure to keep tidy and listen to our hosts and don’t let any plates stay overnight as we spotted a couple of ants on a plate we left out by accident 😭 we were warned and it was true, after that we had no issues as we were careful in wiping down surfaces and washing our dishes right away. The OG of Airbnb, Derrick's place is unique, fun and close to everything you need for your trip to Maui. If you are looking for accommodations beyond the cookie cutter condo then this is it. Derrick was available in person and by text and was a very gracious host. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning to this little slice of paradise.

This was a great condo to stay at for our first trip to Maui. Very quiet. Very clean. Both my husband and I remarked on how comfortable the bed is. If you want to explore the island by car you are perfectly situated. But you also have a very low key beach right in front. We walked the beach for an hour and watched the sunrise every morning. Absolutely perfect.

This home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen tools, speaker to play music, beach gear and towels, it's all there. The house has a beautiful garden and it's a quiet neighborhood. Cassie is very responsive and flexible. She gave us some great recommendations in the area. The location of the house is very convenient, centrally located on the island. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect house/location. It had all the space and amenities to make it a comfortable stay for our party of 6. We loved waking up every morning and walking over to Kraken Coffee for a delicious cup of coffee and then later walking over to the food trucks at night for an amazing variety of food for dinner. Probably our absolute favorite thing was how conveniently close Foodland grocery store was. We would love to stay there again in the future! Mahalo!

Beautiful condo in Kihei with every possible amenity to make you feel right at home. Private and peaceful with a pool, beach access. Perfect for getting around to snorkeling which was nearby. Access to stores too. Great place from which to visit Haleakala as well!

Scott was a helpful and very friendly host. He gave us a ton of tips and guides on what to do in Maui. His place is so close to the beach that it is highly recommended to walk to the beach early in the morning, around 6am, to get the most out of his location. His place was spotless and clean, with no issues. He has all the kitchen items you needed if you wanted to make a quick breakfast before heading out to the road to Hana, or to the national park! He is such a great host and I will be going back to him when I visit Maui again in the near future. As always, please start your mornings early! Around 6/7am the latest, because Maui is incredible during the early mornings. Scott has a ton of recommendations so he will help you with any advice that you need to really make the most out of your Maui trip. 5/5 stars for Scott and for Scott’s Airbnb. Nothing but great things to say about this Airbnb. Clean, safe, comfortable, walkable, convenient, good wifi, air conditioning and fans, it was one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Fantastic place, absolutely worth the price. They were very communicative about everything and very accommodating. Loved the location, a lot of shops and restaurants within 10-15min walking distance, including a beach across the street. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Our family of 5 had the most comfortable stay here! Really appreciated the beach chairs and toys available - since the beach was within walking distance, we were there any time we had a free moment! The location could not be beat. We were less than a 5 minute drive to our surf lessons, Foodland, and the Kihei food trucks. Kihei Caffe is right next door! The beds and pillows are super comfy and we had the best sleep we’ve had in an Airbnb. Felt right at home.

Honestly, John’s place was fantastic. The fact that he had snorkeling gear, chairs, towels, and a beach with so many turtles so nearby was amazing. His place was immaculate, easy to get into, a parking spot so close by, his communication was on point and the place was just honestly one of the best Airbnbs I have ever been to is saying a lot. Thank you John for everything.

We loved staying here! The house was very comfortable, affordable and close to all our activities. The beach was nearby and the house had enough chairs, beach blankets and umbrellas for my family of four. The kitchen was great, down to the rice cooker and spices. We loved the pool which was 9ft, which we loved though also had a shallow end for the kiddos. Near great restaurants, activities, supermarkets, various beach entry areas and not far from a spa if you want to splurge.

The owners were so welcoming and proactive. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. They had some uncontrollable maintenance issue arise that they handled immediately and it did not disrupt our trip at all. The building and amenities were perfect. Our son loved exploring the beach and chasing crabs. Our daughter spent the evenings in the pool after our daytime adventures. We will be back and are so grateful to have experienced this slice of paradise.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Nick and Chelsea were very responsive regarding any questions I had. The location is near everything - beaches, shopping, restaurants. I also appreciated that there were ample amounts of parking. If you are planning on staying in Kihei, do not hesitate to book this spot! I will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here! Fabulous view of Kam 3 and the beautiful landscape, homey feeling condo with everything we needed, and very quiet surroundings. We had our 8 month old and eight year old kids and were pleasantly surprised with variety of kids stuff to use in the closet - lots of beach toys, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, high chair, pack and play, and baby bath. The condo was clean and Kris provided very clear instructions for all parts of our stay. We look forward to booking again in the future!

This place is a great find as it is close to the beach and restaurants. The only thing was interacting with the security to get a parking pass. He was an older man who acted very unprofessionally towards me as I was asking for a parking pass. He would give unnecessary comments like: "Put this pass in your car. We live in America, so the driver's side will be on your left." Luckily, I don't get offended easily, but this is just a heads up. Juliana and the location is great though! So the rating is still high and the security does not effect this rating.
