Hi, Welcome to Raccoon Retreat! This is a house that you will be able to come to unplug, unwind and reconnect with family, friends and all of what nature has to offer. The home is located within the ‪Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area‬. Here you will have the opportunity to take advantage of hiking trails, waterfalls, swimming, zip lining, fishing, horseback riding, canoeing and kayaking, as well as skiing or snowtubing during the snowy season. Though you get to experience nature here, you are only a short drive away from restaurants, casino, shopping and also water parks. The entire home is all yours! Our three story home sits on a one acre wooded lot. In the event you are just wanting to get away to hunker down here, we have designed the space to feel cozy and warm. *Winter bookings must have 4 Wheel or AWD Vehicle. This one-of-a-kind cabin borders the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Hike right behind the cabin, through the woods, to Dingmans Creek. A short hike upstream leads to George W. Childs Park with 3 tumbling waterfalls, a rustic trail system, and observation decks. A longer hike downstream will bring you to Dingmans Falls. DWGNRA offers swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, canoeing, and kayaking, all within minutes of the cabin.

Our house is located just up the road from the Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. Located between Bushkill Falls and the Delaware National Recreation Area offers hiking, biking, rivers, streams, and waterfalls. From Spring to Fall, easy access to kayak or canoe rentals. Numerous golf courses are just minutes away. The historical town of Delaware Water Gap and Stroudsburg offers a variety of restaurants, music venues, wineries, and boutiques. Best of all, we are only 75 minutes west of NYC.

Cottage on a Fiber Farm

Stay in a cottage on a working luxury fiber farm. Small charming cottage has two bedrooms and one bath, a family room, dining area and full kitchen. It has a cute covered porch. This is grandma and grandpas house when they come to the farm and is furnished accordingly. If you are looking for a modern open space, this is not going to be for you. This property is not appropriate for small children, please contact us before booking with children under five.

The home is equipped with fast high speed WiFi that can be access all around the home." I have air conditioners in the top 2 floor bedrooms, the house stays cool in summer as well
