The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

Home to sheep and hens, with deer roaming nearby and owls nesting close by, it’s a haven for wildlife lovers. The accommodation is simple and characterful, with one bedroom (situated on a mezzanine floor) and a sofa bed, ideal for couples, small families, or friends seeking a quiet, countryside stay away from the rush of everyday life.

Located in Samlesbury, Preston, just a few minutes off the M6. Ideal stop-off location for those travelling to the Lake District or for those seeking a relaxing get away. Close by to many idillic walks. The Space: Separate from our main garden, with views of woodland. Comfy double bed, ensuite with shower.
