This riverside home was the perfect getaway spot—peaceful, beautifully located, and incredibly relaxing. Waking up to the sound of birds and watching the river flow from the porch was pure magic. My 2 colleagues and I stayed here during a conference at U Conn and it was absolutely perfect. The house is steps from the lake with beautiful views. Great porch, 2 fire pits (one is part of the porch table itself!), and fun water bikes. Great swimming and relaxing all around. The house itself is comfortable and super clean. Last but not least , the host Jena was truly above and beyond helpful, responsive, and accommodating. We had an awesome time - it felt like a true retreat :)

Stayed here for a weekend with my family and the place was perfect. Very clean and modern. 15 minute ride to Mohegan sun, 30 minute ride to Foxwoods. Peter answered within 5 minutes the few times I had texted him. Would definitly stay here again!

I have stayed at lots of places in the last few years . . . and this place ranks right at the top. It is beyond beautiful. The water views from the living room and both bedrooms made it hard to leave and come home. It's actually even more amazing than the pictures. Don't think twice! Book this place now!

Mariza's house was not only beautiful on the inside, but on the outside aswell. We felt very welcome from the moment we stepped foot into her home. We had lots of room for everyone, which was nice. I would highly recommend it!

The house had stunning views from every room on all floors. The kitchen was well-equipped for our large family. The owner’s responses to questions about the property were prompt and helpful. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub since it was too early in the season for the swimming pool. My family agreed we would rent again if a reunion is planned.

The place was very clean and comfortable. The amenities were great - there was coffee and supplies for it as well as some bottle water in the fridge. The place was quiet and clean and in a good location. Sean communicated well with us and we had a nice time.

This was our 2nd stay at Andrea’s place. Very peaceful and convenient location for our visits to Connecticut. We come to visit family but the small river towns like Deep River offer much to do and excellent restaurants to boot. We highly recommend Andreas property!

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

A very accurate listing with a super helpful host. This was our first time using Air BnB and I was a little nervous. Everything was beyond my expectations! Listing was exactly as pictured and described. Host was very explicit with self-check in instructions, guest instructions, etc. We are very familiar with the area but never stayed in Matunuck before. This was a great place to stay. Jeri was a wonderful host - responsive, kind, warm, and friendly. The place was beautiful, and all the amenities made the stay very pleasant. Fresh eggs and cream in the fridge, along with chickens right outside really set this place apart. Wonderful place, wonderful stay, amazing host.

Frederick and Kelly have a great little rustic cabin right on the lake. Peaceful, quiet (a tiny bit of road noise occasionally, but overall very quiet). Frederick is super helpful and friendly. Cabin was built around 75 years ago (original builder's son left a note in the log book!), so don't expect anything ultramodern.. just a nice unassuming rustic family cabin.

The place was amazing. I absolutely plan on bringing my family again, hopefully this year. The host was excellent. He was there when we arrived, gave us a quick tour and some easy instructions on how to use items. We loved the lake, and the house came with everything we needed to enjoy our time

My family had a great time my daughters enjoyed kayaking. They fished almost all day every day they were in the lake constantly. we also like that it’s close enough for us to have company for the day and for my daughters to have their friends come and go fishing and kayaking for the day.

" Live is but an azure moment" and the Azure Cottage provided just that! We loved the proximity of the house to the beach. The sound of the waves was meditative and restorative.The space offers a truly beautiful vista with a distant view of Block Island. The beach itself is perfect and great for walking and taking walks with dogs. Sunrises were lovely--a great way to greet the day. We are "foodies" and appreciated a well appointed kitchen, including a kettle for the tea lovers. The space is open and comfortable. Charlestown Beachway is lovely; off the beaten path but accessible to many fun things to do--like the Trolls at Ninigret and the Fantastic Umbrella Factory plus great places to eat. One caution: Renters need to be accustomed to stairs. The exterior stairs were much easier to use than the interior ones.

Our stay could not have been better. Was the perfect place to stay to run the Newport marathon and we really enjoyed the cozy feel of the place. Everything was so clean and the yard was a great bonus in nice spring weather. Could not have asked for a better or more thoughtful host!

Wonderful stay in Chester. Looks exactly like photos, very well decorated and cute outdoor patio space. Appreciated it was well appointed and had extra of everything (linens, toiletries, etc). Beds were comfy. Close drive to town.

We had a great stay at Greg's place. Potter pond is gorgeous and a kayaking paradise, and the walk to the beach was amazing. Being so close to great restaurants was also amazing. This is a gem of a location for a beach vacation. One note- I had thought we'd be able to launch our kayak at the water right behind the unit, but you need to walk them a little bit over to the kayak launch. Not a big deal, but make sure you bring a kayak cart if you think you'll need one.
