Another wonderful stay at Little Springfield. The lodge was immaculate, tastefully decorated and our every need catered for. It’s in a great location - peaceful but so close to the town centre. Easy to access. Couldn’t fault our trip and Lesley and Martin are wonderful hosts.

Sandra and Rob are always really kind, thoughtful and helpful hosts and it is a pleasure to stay with them.

What a lovely escape this was! We had everything we needed for a cosy night in, before exploring the nearby coastline the next day. A great little gem and we were very happy with the well thought out set up.

Stephen was so accommodating and helpful , a brilliant host. The accommodation is fab, my 11 year old daughter and I stayed and it was cosy and comfortable. It is located on a gorgeous camp site which is home to lots of peacocks 🦚 which was lovely. We used the accommodation as a base to see my son and friends near Padstow throughout each day, so we didn’t sit around much or even turn the TV on! But we enjoyed it and will definitely return . grateful for a lovely stay. Huge thanks.

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Came down for two nights and it was so peaceful and charming that we stayed for three. Juliet was really helpful throughout, the well stocked kitchen was a pleasant suprise and made the stay a dream, and waking up in that beautiful secluded little space with the birds singing was such a welcome break from out London home. The whole space felt very private and you can really relax there. It's not the easiest place to find, but Juliet's instructions were very helpful. We will definitely stay again if we're around the area Thanks Juliet!

Very cosy secluded shepherds hut with a stunning view over the valley. The hot tub takes a few hours to warm up which is to be expected, but once warm it's absolutely perfect to relax in for the evening. While small, the shepards hut has everything you need for a quiet weekend away and the bed is warm and comfortable. Local towns are a twenty minute drive away so close enough to find somewhere for food or supplies, but you're in the sticks enough that we didn't see anyone other than the farmer on the other side of the valley.

The Cabin was SO special! I stayed with my 3 kids and they absolutely loved it. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay, it was super comfortable and stylish and a lovely short walk into town by the river. Beds v comfy and lovely little veranda for sitting in the sunshine!

Super clean shepherd's hut in a lovely countryside location where you can watch plenty of wildlife and the pet ducks in the stream. The build quality of the shepherd's hut is very impressive, with double glazing and plenty of heating. Clive is a very good host and responds very quickly to any messages. We will definitely be back at some stage.

Great getaway for us as a family of 4. Great to have all the animals, swings and games to play around us for the kids to be occupied and gave us time to relax in the setting around us. Truck was very comfy and was a great place to stay.

What a beautiful cabin and location. The facilities were perfect and my stay was amazing. Jonathan and his partner were so friendly and helpful. Already rebooked.

we had a lovely nights stay in the shepherds hut and only wish we could have stayed longer!! it was so peaceful, located in a beautiful part of Devon, and had everything we needed. if we had any questions or concerns then we knew jackie was there, but she seemed to think of everything :) highly recommend!

We had a beautiful bank holiday weekend stay at the shepherds hut. It is exactly as described and in a great location. We went on some really lovely walks with the dog. Danielle was a great host, easy to contact and quick to respond. She also provided lots of different walks to go on and places to go, however after our walk we just enjoyed chilling out at the hut for the rest of the day as it was so nice and private and surrounded by a lovely woodland which our dog loved and the hot tub was a great addition that us humans loved. We would definitely stay again and hopefully will very soon.

We had a lovely weekend in the Little House. Ali and her husband were excellent hosts - great communication and very helpful - even giving us a lift to the wedding we were attending. Would highly recommend this rental.

Our stay exceeded expectations. Ruth has clearly put a lot of thought into the space, with lovely touches that made our stay feel special. - comfy and cozy space - good sized bathroom - well equipped kitchen - fire pit (we toasted marshmallows while enjoying the sunset - one of the highlights of our trip!) - wild rabbits roaming - fantastic area, with beautiful walks and beaches just a short hop away. - host quick to respond and happy to help We had a fantastic and relaxing stay and would highly recommend Little Northside to anyone looking for a peaceful and romantic escape. Stayed here for an early bank holiday celebrating my wife's birthday, we absolutely loved the place, the surrounding garden area was absolutely beautiful and very private/peaceful, the accommodation had everything we needed for a short stay with a very comfortable bed and nice hot shower. The hottub was obviously the highlight and we were both very sad to get out for the final time. Location was also very good, walking distance to both the train station, supermarket (Lidl) and the town centre. Although I grew up in Devon, I don't recall spending anytime here in Teignmouth but we had a great time exploring both the town and took a boat across the Shaldon one of the days also. Would highly recommend staying here for a nice and relaxing getaway.

Had a lovely peaceful stay . Lovely chatting with Dave and learning about the business , their family and all about the area . Horse box bathroom was fantastic. Our daughter and her partner can’t wait to visit in July . Would likely return

Stayed at the torvale shack for my birthday was amazing. Loved the design and the set up. And chilling in the hot tub. Will be a place I will always come to when I need my chilled time away. We definitely recommend to friends and family 🙂

Sally's place was the perfect getaway! If you're looking for somewhere that will be enjoyable for a dog who can be nervous of other dogs, this is a gem! No loose dogs, very secure garden, I could relax on the lounger or in the hot tub without worrying where he is or what he's doing. Sally is very dog savvy and has rescue dogs herself so was really understanding of my boy's needs which meant so much. The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us and had everything we needed in terms of facilities and ways to cook, everything thoughtfully done and a beautiful sunrise view over the fields. Great food options nearby, if you're vegan definitely check out Rob's Fish Bar for a really good vegan menu. Thank you Sally for a relaxing stay, we will definitely be back!

We had a beautiful stay at Mill Cross in the Jenny Wren Shepard’s hut over a long weekend. Emma and Kevin were brilliant hosts, they were so kind and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was great to chat to them and learn about what the do and who they are. Our fire was lit for us to keep the cabin cosy and the hot tub perfectly warmed for us in the evenings. A highlight for us was the abundance of wonderfully friendly animals, it made our morning to have the hens coming running up to say hi, excited greetings from their lovely dog Juno, purrs from the very friendly cat Pickles, and happy hellos from the characterful goats. Stunning location, beautifully clean with expert craftsmanship. Very eco friendly as well. Emma’s homemade bread was delicious and we will be trying the brownie recipe she shared with us. Dreamy stay, wonderful trip. We will be back. Highly recommend!

Great stay! Even though it was rainy the first half of our stay it was still an incredibly peaceful and cosy place to be. Everything was as described and we were close to walks/bays/supermarket and had everything we needed. Outdoor shower is a highlight for sure! Definitely coming back

Beautiful place, honestly stunning and so so peaceful! Dogs are super super friendly and could of happily taken them all home. 10/10 would book again!!
